
Muhammad Shamil Minhaj from Thamarassery Da’ira has clinched the first position in the preliminary results of the Jami’a Mehrjan National Academic Fest. Excelling in the Malayalam-Urdu translation (writing) competition under the Aaliyah category, Minhaj secured an A grade and emerged as the top performer. A native of Mangalore, he is also a participant in the Urdu speech competition.
Currently in his final year at Jami’a Madinathunnur, Minhaj is simultaneously pursuing a degree in psychology. He has presented several research papers at prestigious conferences, many of which have been published. He is the son of Abdur Rasheed Saini Saqafi and Fathima.
In the same competition, Aslah Nishmal from Majma’ussaqafat-ul-Islamiyya and Sayyid Muhammad Nafi’ Ahdal from Kodambuzha Da’wa College secured the second positions.
